We now have an exciting career opportunity for an experienced Head of Payroll to join us at our Headquarters to support our payroll function in order to deliver payroll excellence to our employees.

Responsibilities will include :
Preparation of all Group and associated companies Payroll, as per set / tight deadlines.
Reconciliation of all payroll transactions and costing to the nominal postings.
Working closely with Locker Managers to approve and process commission payments .
Reporting, reconciliation and payment of pension contributions .
Work closely with HR function to ensure continuity of reporting and data transfer to Payroll .
Engagement with IT department to implement new payroll systems and processes .
Regulate BACS transmissions.
Any ad-hoc duties within the HR / Payroll Department.

Skills, Knowledge & Experience:
CIPP qualified , having worked in an Assistant Payroll Manager capacity or Payroll Manager looking for a fresh challenge ..
Exposure to working for a large business with multiple payrolls and 1000 plus payroll .
A sound knowledge of, and ability to apply, payroll procedures and legislation.
Knowledge of Pension Schemes is essential.
A high degree of numeracy, accuracy and the ability to use Excel and Word efficiently.
The ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines.
Discretion, tact, diplomacy and tolerance
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate to people at all levels
