Katahdin Hair Sheep are a low maintenance and hardy breed of sheep. They are clean shedding and do not need shearing. Excellent mothers, usually raising twins each year. Very good foragers. Will reduce fire fuel and take care of noxious weeds. Their meat is lean and mild. Some folks even use them as a dairy animal.
