Unhappiness in marriage can be one of the most stressful things to encounter. Help with conflict is often necessary because of the emotions involved which can cloud understanding, perspectives and direct responses. Many times assistance is necessary because of the communication patterns that have developed over time and the way in which parties perceive each other. Another person often has to become involved and can bring perspectives and direction and suggest changes and solutions.
So often conflict highlights problematic thought patterns which result in confrontational habits - we can use conflict to identify these thought patterns and to change those which are unhelpful.
Conflict help us grow, define us, build our characters, mature us and solidify relationships - all of which are possible if we respond to it positively.
Conflict Coaching is aimed at gaining perspective again in the conflict, explore options, choosing the right option and managing the conflict Biblically. The coaching helps to prepare the party/ies to meet and address the conflict themselves in the best possible way.
Mediation is the process where the parties meet separately with a mediator first for conflict coaching and then meet under the guidance of the mediator to work through their problem and find solutions for it.
