Assistant driver - Johannesburg

Main responsibilities:
• Assist CDL drivers with the delivery and pick up of customer’s media or equipment, such as carts and pallets.
• Service and communicate with our customers while performing the pickups and deliveries.
• Offload trucks at the end of the shift.
• Communicate in a friendly professional manner with clients and co-workers.
• Handle all physical requirements for loading and transporting without assistance.
• Execute accurate and timely handling of client delivery requests.
• Prepare accurate paperwork and records.
• Other duties as assigned.

Key Skills, Requirements and Competencies:
• Applicants should be computer proficient, able to complete paperwork accurately and completely and understand the importance of detail and accuracy.
• Strong customer service and ability to communicate verbally with customers in a professional manner.
• Ability to adhere to and enforce all security procedures.
• Able to lift materials weighing up to 70 pounds; able to use tools to maneuver.
• You must be at least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license (C1) and a good driving record, and be able to pass a pre-employment substance abuse screening, a background check and a DOT physical.
