Item description

Help with Conflict is often necessary because of the emotions involved which can cloud understanding, perspectives and responses. Many times assistance is necessary because of the way in which parties perceive each other and an "outsider" has to become involved and bring direction and suggest solutions which will be more accetable than coming from one of the parties themselves.

So often conflict highlights problematic thought patterns which result in confrontational habits - we can use conflict to identify these thought patterns and to change those which are unhelpful.

Conflict help us grow, define us, build our characters, mature us and solidify relationships - all of which are possible if we respond to it correctly.

Conflict Counseling is aimed at gaining perspective again in the conflict, explore options, choosing the right option and managing the conflict Biblically. The counseling help to prepare the party/ies to meet and address the conflict themselves in the best possible way.

Mediation is the process where the parties meet separately with a mediator first for conflict counselling, and then meet together under the guidance of the mediator to work through their problem and find solutions for it.

Arbitration is required when parties do not have relational issues, but hold different conflicting views on a matter and need another just to make a decision on the issue. They choose an arbitrator and give him authority to hear and decide their case and his decision is binding bringing an end to the dispute.

Peacemaking Course - a course takes the participants through the whole process:
Understanding conflict, what causes conflict, the goals in conflict
Self-examination, repentance, what to confess, the 7 A's of confession
Confrontation, what is the goal, how to confront, when and how to involve others
Forgiveness, what it is and what it is not, the 4 Promises of Forgiveness, dealing with unreasonable people
The course is ideal for groups like house churches, home groups, leaders, company staff and individuals who want to be prepared for conflict and be able to help others. The course can also be presented at the venue where the groups meets and to suit time slots.

Prices for the above services on application.
