Our Client, a leading entertainment provider in Africa and HQ based in Johannesburg - South Africa is looking for a creative and experienced Graphic designer to join their team. The Graphic Designer will work closely with the management to achieve the companies' objectives in line with their creative and digital goals.
Responsibilities
Interpret the client’s business needs and developing a concept to suit their purpose
Schedule projects and defining budget constraints
Conceptualize visuals based on requirements
Develop illustrations, logos and other designs using software as requested
Use the appropriate colors and layouts for each graphic
Work with copywriters and creative director to produce final design
Testing graphics across various media
Ensure final graphics and layouts are visually appealing and on-brand
Requirements
Degree or relevant IT Qualification
At least 1 year experience in a graphic design role working on different projects
Experience using the full Adobe suite
Proficient in Sketch, Adobe XD, Figma, or other vector design tool
Experience with front-end development, including HTML, CSS and wordpress is a plus
A strong portfolio of illustrations or other graphics
A keen eye for aesthetics and details
Excellent communication skills
Ability to work methodically and meet deadlines
