RESPONSIBILITIES• Welds metal parts together using gas welding, aluminum welding, any combination of arc welding processes, brazing and soft soldering on a variety of materials.• May be required to perform related tasks such as thermal cutting and grinding.• Repairs broken or cracked parts, fills holes; increase size of metal parts on compactors, containers and carts.• Performs preventative maintenance inspections, diagnostic and repair of electrical and hydraulic systems on compactors.
