Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Adhere to and implement proper welding procedures.
Maintain accurate dimensional tolerances set forth on drawings.
Produce quality product while focusing on given standards.
Handle heavy materials manually and with overhead cranes in a safe and efficient manner.
Assure all welding is performed and documented in compliance with the companies quality assurance policies.
The ability to read measuring equipment.
Maintain trace-ability requirements by completing required documentation.
Clean and maintain welding/boilermaker equipment.
Adhere to all safety practices and report any unsafe conditions, broken or malfunctioning equipment.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
Must be able to lift or move up to 50 lbs.
Must be able to kneel on floor while working Must be able to bend, stoop and squat
Job requires pushing, pulling and overhead reach
Must be able to keep pace with work flow
Must be able to work in small, sometimes awkward spaces and positions
