Fall Protection Technician / Trainee Fall Protection Technician
Gecko Fall Protection - Florida Glen, Roodepoort, off Gordon Road)
Driver’s license EC1 (Articulated vehicles with GVM between 3 500 kg and 16 000 kg; and vehicles allowed by Code C1 but with a trailer with GVM greater than 750 kg.) - Must have requirement or can obtain one ASAP
The trailer's GVM is 2000 kgs and the Peugeot Boxer's GVM is 3350 kgs. See attached license code required.)
Not afraid of working at heights (Roofs, MEWP's, cherry pickers etc….)
Can pass basic work at height fall arrest training
A hands-on, technical orientated person (Training provided in house and by our clients)
Must work well as a part of a team
Must be able to pass a medical and drug test (We do work at National Key Points and Petrochemical terminals/refineries which may request a random drug/alcohol tests before been allowed or during work at any time on site)
Drug free
Clean and sober habits
100% trustworthy as we install and inspect fall protection systems for fall arrest
Toolbox and hand tools
Expected to travel away from home now and again with the team (KZN, EL, PE, CT, JHB etc...)
Salary neg. R6000.00 to R8000.00 neg. on ability and work experience
