christ embassy President opines that the wave of evil manifested in mass shootings, wars, natural disasters can be averted through prayer

In a video post on his @pastorchrislive superuser account, the President of the Believers’ Loveworld nation and Pastor, Rev. Dr. Chris Oyakhilome made a passionate call to saints of God all around the world to intercede in prayers for nations. “We must intercede, it’s our job; we’ve got to stand in the gap for others!” the man of God emphasized in the video post.

The spate of terror in many nations of the world, including mass shootings in the United States, deaths of innocent children and people in war torn countries, floods, earthquakes and natural disasters affecting several cities and countries of the world has got the attention of saints who have now embarked on a prayer movement in the month of June, to cause changes in different geographical locations. Pastor Chris attributes the negative manifestations seen in affected nations and countries, to demon spirits of darkness who cause people to do such evil works. He expressed the severity of the worldwide occurrences of 'evil', exclaiming: “except we pray, nations may be lost! We want good to prevail! We have to pray for the nations, intercede for them!”
