Description:
•Our client, a major player in the Logistics Industry is looking for the services of a Transport Operations Controller (Picking Manager).
•They are offering a salary in the region of R 50Â 000 per Month CTC.
•The successful candidate will be responsible for Overseeing and manage all picking processes and procedures for Transport, ensure that the products are efficiently allocated in the correct location, within the warehouse in a secure manner in order to eliminate damage to the goods and comply with storage and handling requirements, ensure that product entering trucks are packed in the correct manner
•He/she will also be responsible to ensure the shift structures and staffing levels are appropriate to ensure efficient picking operations, ensure that Material handling equipment is in safe operating order and clean at all times, ensure that a high level of security is maintained at the DC, to lead investigations of all incidents and non-compliances and conduct root cause analysis and reports thereof as required. Ensure corrective actions are identified, communicated and timorously implemented.

Skills and Experience:

•Skills Experience:
•Must have 1 year experience in Picking Management
•Good understanding of Warehouse Tracking and SAP EWM Systems
•FMCG and Warehousing Background
•Shift work required
