Quality Auditor - based in Sandton - Johannesburg

Key Areas of Responsibilities

1. Visit different areas of Gauteng according to pre-determined schedule on daily basis to:
- locate the sample retail outlets according to pre-set criteria
- conduct audit for the client and competitors’ products and collect other marketing information inside the sample stores outlets
- enter the audit data into the PDA and transmit all data to Luxembourg office on daily basis
- data to be collected include number of units, price, production date, visibility, etc.

2. Maintain good communications with Luxembourg office

3. Might be required to travel to other areas in South Africa to conduct store audit or related activity

4. Conduct fieldwork for other projects according to management instructions when needs arise

Job Specifications
- To conduct daily fieldwork of Distribution/Freshness Panel in Gauteng (and other South African cities if needed)
- To conduct fieldwork for ad hoc projects when needed
- Work is 100% in the field (retail outlets) and Auditors report directly to Head Office
- Daily car travelling is required in order to reach all different locations within Gauteng
- Salary is fix for 60% and variable (performance-based) for the rest 40%

Academic / Professional Qualification :
Preferred to have College Education

Working Experience :
- Preferred to have 2-years experience as Field Salesperson / FMCG Merchandiser / Research Fieldworker/Quality Audit

Expertise / Skills :
- Accuracy, reliability, numeracy
- Able to communicate effectively in English
- Excellent knowledge of Gauteng area or Durban/PE area, well-versed with street names and places
- Familiar with FMCG retail outlets
- Computer literate
- Good interpersonal skills

Personal Attributes :
- Driving Licence and own car
- Accustomed to outdoor work, detail-oriented, independent
- Able to travel to other cities and work alone in the market
