We have a great opportunity at our depots, for code 10 & 14 drivers who will be driving a vehicle exceeding 25 000 kg (rigid or articulated) transporting goods which may include a trailer, products or materials to and from specified destinations. Performs related administrative tasks and off-loading of goods at customers Please view job spec for more details.
• Grade 10 Literacy level
• Medically fit
• Defensive driving
• Driver actions regarding to weather/road/traffic conditions
• Reporting procedure of emergencies and defects
• Vehicle inspections and operating a fire extinguisher
• Eaton Fuller gearbox and ZF gearbox driving
• Road Traffic Act (i.e. operating a vehicle)
• Vehicle loading techniques
• Maximizing vehicle cost-effectiveness and efficiency
• Function and location of vehicle components
