Tyre Service technician - Johannesburg

Position: Service Technicians x 10

Location: East Rand

Salary: R 23, 750 per month / R 285, 000 per annum

Closing date: 25th May 2017

Our client, who is a leader in sales and manufacturing in the tyre industry has a vacancy for Service Technicians at their East Rand branch. The position available has preference to suitably qualified PDI candidates, residing in the East Rand area.

Core Purpose :

To provide a fully comprehensive service to meet customer requirements and deliver first in service standards via Service Level Agreements or individual instructions.

Key Performance Areas:· Attend customer sites / premises and deliver Service Level Agreements to fleets

Complete all job cards / fleet inspections and associated paperwork to company standards on I-Pad (computer)
Attend roadside breakdowns and work to H&S standards (day shift and/or night shift)
Maintain van (vehicle) and issued equipment to highest standard of care
Manage self to improve personal effectiveness
Skills and experience required :

Valid Code 10 Drivers License + PDP (not negotiable)
Computer literate
Good interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work independently as a self-starter within the company’s team
A minimum of two years tyre management experience
A minimum of two years mounting and demounting experience
Qualification required :

Matric (Grade 12)
Preference will be given to previously disadvantaged candidates
Preference will be given to candidates willing to be relocated
Preference will be given to candidates with own reliable transport
