I am an accomplished mechanic and am hands-on so that simple breakdowns on the road I can fix them by myself
As a driver, my responsibilities included the following:
a)Deliver goods, sometimes over intercity routes or spanning several states & cross-border
b)Record amount and type of cargo being delivered.
c)Monitor road conditions and watch for traffic congestion.
d)Inspect the trailer before and after the trip, and record any defects they find.
e)Keep the truck, and associated equipment, clean and in good working order.
f)Plan routes using maps or satellite tracking.
g)Manage vehicle in safe operating condition..
h)Check vehicles and troubleshoot and maintain vehicles.
i)Run ratchet straps and chains and binders to secure load to trailer.
