Job overview

My client, a leading Export and Import company, is looking for an experienced Administration Clerk to join their team on a half day basis.

Duties & Responsibilities
Areas of Responsibility (Your duties will include but are not limited to)

General administration duties as required, filing, invoicing, calls to clients, communication with clients re deliveries, filing, compiling VAT submission, answering of telephone calls, etc.
Creating of Purchase Orders in Xero
Following up on payments (Debtors)
Contact retailers re orders/stock
Creating, updating and maintaining records and databases
Record keeping of meetings
Sending emails, answer queries from employees and suppliers
Prepare salary slips
Manage import & export paperwork
Updating and maintaining of all staff files
Deal with clients on all levels
Registering & licensing of vehicles and all related paperwork
Invoicing in Xero attaching all relevant documentation
Checking and reconciling of all admin received from warehouse
Must LOVE admin
Desired Experience & Qualification
Knowledge, skills, and experience required

Educational Background

Proven work experience as an Administration Clerk essential
Minimum Grade 12
Must be able to read, write, speak and understand Afrikaans & English
Proficient in MS Office – Excel, Word, Outlook & Microsoft teams
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Good time management skills
Strong organization skills with a problem solving attitude
The successful candidate must reside in the gauteng province
Own transport essential
