General Homes Maintenance Inspector x 4
Responsibilities include:
-Conduct general homes preventative and workmanship maintenance inspection;
-Provide and submit detailed assessment reports including proposed solutions;
-Provide guideline project plan for correction;
-Estimate costs for repairs and renovations;
-Ensure that safety precautions are in place for working in customer homes;
-Inform and advise the company on lessons and experienced from interacting with customers;
-Transfer of skills to junior staff members and interns;
-Be able to visit selected homes on a daily basis
-Be able to communicate in English and Afrikaans
Qualification
Relevant qualification and registration with mandatory or statutory bodies for various required areas of specialisation.
A drivers’ license is required for this position.
Experience
-General and multidiscipline construction industry experience preferred;
-5 years plus Inspection and fault identification and provision of relevant solution experience in electrical, plumbing & water pools, building defects, painting, security, intercoms (motor gates & alarms), roofing & waterproofing, pools and gardening & landscaping
