You will also handle transactions at the checkout, ensuring accuracy in processing payments and handling cash or card operations. Part of your role involves staying informed about current promotions, store policies, and product details to effectively communicate these to customers and address any questions or concerns they may have.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential, as you will interact with a diverse range of customers and work collaboratively with your team to meet sales targets and provide excellent service. A successful In-Store Retail Assistant is adaptable, proactive, and customer-focused, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced retail environment. Previous experience in retail or customer service is preferred but not required, as training will be provided.
