We are seeking experienced self-starters, who are forward-thinking Premise Sales Executives and have an understanding of the foodservices and automotive industry to sell our diverse range of FoodCoaches and related products.
The successful candidates will be afforded a good basic salary plus commission and great incentives.
Key areas of responsibility include the following:
•Work with a defined sales quota focusing on initiating relationships with multi-level decision-makers through phone, marketing, e-mail / direct mail campaigns, in-person contacts / cold calling, networking and presentations
•Achieve monthly sales targets as set out in budget.
•Ensure contracts are correctly signed and filed for new business.
•Planning, setting budgets and targets.
•Prepare quotes and presenting to the clients as soon as possible by meeting the client’s expectations.
•Prepare proposals which clearly set out the terms and conditions for the proposed deal.
•Prospecting potential customers within the target profile.
•Develop, build and maintain strong relationships with potential customers.
•Develop innovative, creative solutions to identify and develop new customers.
•Sustain sales activities; appointments, proposals, cold calls, database updates and reporting.
•Keep abreast of changes in with industry trends and increase knowledge of the Foodservice Industry and other services that the company offers.
•Ability to clearly present the company’s’ product and service offerings.
•Maintain contact with existing clients and develop new business.
•Timeous handling of queries.
•Where appropriate provide alternatives to ensure we get the business.
•Formally introduce operations staff to new clients before commencement.
•Provide onsite assistance on start of contract.
•Follow-up with operations to ensure that the contract is functioning in accordance with specifications.
•Planning weekly sales prospects.
•Setting appointments.
•Prepare and present weekly/monthly sales reports at month end /weekly sales meetings.
•Develop add value to Sales Department.
•Demonstrate the temperament of handling a number of different assignments at the same time and be presentable, well spoken, strong personality, ability to manage timekeeping, assertive, goal orientated and own transport essential.
Desired skills include the following:
•Demonstrate a drive to succeed and be able to work independently to build a pipeline of business in order to grow the company’s revenue.
•Demonstrate a high degree of honesty, integrity, diligence, charisma, innovation, customer-service attitude and project a professional appearance/demeanour to inspire confidence in our customers.
•Plan, prioritize business opportunities, very organized, always punctual, professional on the telephone and keeps manager appraised of all sales activities
•Strong liaison and communication skills
Education and Experience
•A minimum of 3 years' experience in premise sales.
•Tertiary qualification or equivalent experience in the foodservice or automotive industry (advantage).
Knowledge, Skills and Competencies
•Fully computer literate on MS Office, Advanced Word, Excel and PowerPoint Skills
•Cold calling and telemarketing where necessary
•Experienced in calling on customers and business development and quotations
•Proven sales track record in achieving sales targets
•Clear communication skills (written and verbal)
•Good interpersonal skills
•Ability to interact with clients at all levels
•Assertive
•Valid SA driver's license and reliable own vehicle
