Item description
Bottling and packaging electricians sub contracting work.
Requirements:
3yrs apprenticeship as well as an additional 2yrs qualified work.
Trade tested electrical qualification.
Excellent artisan hand skills and fault finding essential.
Must have a valid south african passport as the position requires travelling.
Must be able to work in a team, and within a diverse cultural group.
Must be able to read and understand electrical plant layouts and electrical diagrams.
Must be bottling and packaging experienced.
Must have own hand tools, crimping tools and multi meter essential.
Duties and responsibilities will include:
Electrical installations in the bottling, packaging and processing fields.
Rigging, placing and securing electrical panels.
Building of overhead cable tray/trunking, enclosed conveyor trunking and wire mesh cable rack.
Cable pulling and connecting.
Assisting with commissioning, loop checks, motor directions etc.
