VTT SECURITY SYSTEMS is a division of VTT Construction and Telecommunications formed by MD. Francis Ndovi, are security systems suppliers and installers who provide independent quality consultation, systems design and maintenance service of quality security systems for the descening clients with effective and reliable solutions to security problems, with high quality installation and and after sales service and support that sets us apart from our competitors.
Currently our team comprises of 8 people. Our entire workforce is dedicated to providing excellent products and service to all our customers. Our culture is one of the family and unity and this mix enables us to grow the firm organically. Our policies are non- discriminatory and we push our staff to empower themselves through increased training that we offer. Our future is to expand our business beyond South African boarders.

OUR CORE BUSINESS
1. ACCESS CONTROL- TIME AND ATTENDANCE
- We service and support the most up to date products on the market as well as some of the oldest. These include biometric readers and proximity cards technology through to mechanical punch clock machines. We are able to provide complete employee time recording and systems that can be integrated into the pre-existing pay roll solutions.
2. CLOSE CIRCUIT TELEVISION(CCTV)
-We fit and service all manner of CCTV products and can integrate them into security systems and existing IT infrastructure. Whether its a small business or massive surveillance project, we have the experience to provide the right kind of CCVT solution for your business.
3. TURNSTILES
-Our Turnstiles are available in several configurations to suit applications ranging from crowd control to high security check points. Full height turnstiles can be fitted with a multi function logic system, enabling interface with a range of access control systems such as:

BARRIERS AND BOOMS
-Our traffic control barriers are available in several configurations to suit applications ranging from car parks to high security installations. We protect your parking space or secure your vehicle when parked, with a selection of manual and automatic parking barriers.
ELECTRIC FENCING
- Electric fencing is an excellent deterrent as it secures the perimeter of of the property. Not only does it serve as a physical barrier of approximately 8000-10000 volts of current, but also a perimeter alarm system. Should the wires be cut or breached, eg. a blanket thrown over the wires, the fence alarm immediately activates alerting both the client of a possible intrusion as well as the armed response company to whom the client is linked to.. Large electric fences can accommodate up to 20 zones to allow a direct response to the area of intrusion as well as to reducing time spent on fault finding. The system includes optional PC software for networkable onsite and offsite monitoring. The huge advantage of electrified fencing is that alarm activates before the intruder has entered property.
INTERCOM SYSTEMS
-We utilize a wide range of audio and video intercom systems from reputable suppliers to ensure a replacement component is readily available. These systems are expandable and include an optional internal call and communication facility, driveway gate status LED's, line boosters for long cabling runs, video gate station and incorporations of external CCTV cameras etc. as well as digital systems for large installations. Two wire digital video intercom systems are also available upmarket apartments.
-Where hard wired intercom systems become impractical to install, cellular based intercom systems are available. The Mircell/ B1000 intercom systems is a GSM based unit and allows for easy capturing/ editing of residents details through the internrt. Each unit has the facility for 3 telephone and cellular numbers and requires only 220v power and SIM card to operate. Loop detectors, access key pads or other devises can be linked to the system to control vehicle egress.
SCHOOL SECURITY
-We specialize in School Security and security for all types of educational establishments- Campus, University, Primary and Secondary Schools.
SERVICE AND REPAIRS
-Our service teams are equipped with replacement battteries as well as new and / or reconditioned PC boards for most common types of gate motors, intercom systems, energizers etc. Should the system not be repairable on site, we will remove and transport them to various suppliers or manufacturers for repairs, replacement or exchange units.
It is vital to check regularly all electronic equipment such as panic buttons, radio transmitters, alarm outputs, etc to ensure that the system is fully functional for when its most needed. Our service include maintenance contracts for the regular testing of electronic equipment, servicing of mechanical equipment such as gate and garage motors, foliage removal and general upkeep.
