With a combined total of +15 years of experience in the music industry Mason Black Studio’s is a partnership focused on not only crafting but creating and producing the best in quality music. As a collective having done work that has been nominated for both SAMA (South African Music Awards) and MAMA (MTV Africa Music Award) awards, our team of experts are credited with producing and composing music that has charted on numerous stations across Southern Africa. Our composers have also worked as song-writers for Interscope Records (a US major label and home of such acts as Will.I.Am, Lady Gaga and Eminem).

As a collective we aim to provide a unique, all-round service offering top quality. We offer recording, mixing , mastering coupled with composition & production (i.e. song creation) packages facilitated by our specialist team.

With experience across multiple genres (including Electro (EDM), Urban (Hip-Hop, R&B, Soul, etc), Indie & Rock, House and Pop) the services we provide are as affordable as they are flexible.

Studio Rates:

R250 per hour for bookings of between 2-6 hours

R200 per hour for bookings of between 6-8 + hours

With regards to Production and composition royalties these are split equally between parties, since you only pay per hour there is no additional production fee.
